St. Paul's United Church Receives $10,000 Grant From Province of Ontario To Install New Door System In Support Of Faith-Based And Cultural Organizations

MILTON, Ontario -- St. Paul's United Church announced today that it has received a $10,000 grant from the Province of Ontario to install a new door system in support of the many faith-based and cultural organizations who rent space in the Community Building and Sanctuary.

The installation of the new door system took place in late December 2022.

MILTON, Ontario -- St. Paul's United Church announced today that it has received a $42,300 grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation to install a full-height partition wall in its Community Building, which will enable it to provide more below-market rental space to Milton's many non-profit community groups.

St. Paul's United Church Receives Funding From Federal Government For Assisted Hearing Device Technology In Support of Those in Need

MILTON, Ontario -- St. Paul's United Church announced today that it has received a $5,170 grant through the Federal Government's Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) to purchase and install assisted hearing device technology in the Community Building and historic Sanctuary for the benefit of those who have hearing difficulties.

The technology was recently installed and will benefit many of the more than 1,000 Miltonians who visit the Community Building and Sanctuary each week to participate in various community programs provided by the church and its many not-for-profit tenants.

Local Musician Judy Hunter To Headline Piano Concert

St. Paul’s United Church is hosting A Date With Judy, an afternoon of the music of the 20s, 30s and 40s featuring local pianist Judy Hunter on Sunday October 2, 2022, at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Hunter, a Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher of Distinction, is best known as the founder of the local all-women’s choir, The Chansonettes, in 1968 as well as the follow-on local men’s and women’s choir, The Milton Choristers, in 1979. She also served as the Director of Music at St. Paul’s for many, many years, but still sings in the church’s choir.

New Minister To Lead St. Paul’s United Church

Rev. Christina Crawford will lead St. Paul's United Church as its new minister, conducting her inaugural service on Sunday September 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the church's historic sanctuary.

Rev. Crawford comes to St. Paul's after several years of leading Forest United Church in Forest, Ontario. Her first service will be a combined worship of the church's regular 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
