St. Paul’s United Church Council
Duties and Responsibilities:
St. Paul’s United Church Council provides leadership to the local ministry, as defined by the United Church of Canada. The Council also develops and implements policy to meet the needs of the local ministry. It is the responsibility of Church Council to see that the work of the Church is carried out. To do this, the Council delegates responsibilities to a variety of committees, groups and teams that will elect officers, recruit members and carry out actions. Those committees, groups and teams include Annex, Christian Development, Communications, Facility Use, Fellowship & Events, Finance, Ministry & Personnel, Membership, Mission & Outreach, Nomination, Pastoral Care, Property, Stewardship, United Church Women and Worship.
