Darren Evorglens in Concert (October 1, 2016)

Tribute artist Darren Evorglens had them dancin’ in the aisles during his concert at St Paul’s on Saturday October 1. His concert featured the music of Paul Anka, Elvis, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond and other favourites from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Thanks to Brent and Karen Tyrer and the Fellowship Events Team for bringing Darren to St Paul’s.

‘Spirit Alive’ Open House (October 1, 2016)

In association with the Milton Area Christian Churches organization, several churches participated, each offering something different with special activities for children. Children received their “travel booklet” at the first church visited and a special PRIZE at the third church visited. Tours, lunch, bake sale, garage sale, music, bouncy castle, quilt show, pet blessing, bike rodeo, gravestone rubbing were offered at the various churches. At St Paul’s, kids activities included a bouncy castle and facepainting. Tours of the sanctuary were offered as well as musical entertainment, demonstrations and displays of many of the groups that call St Paul’s home. Thanks for a great day, Milton!

Start of the Summer BBQ (June 19, 2016)

Downton Abbey Tea (May 14, 2016)

Presented by the St Paul’s Fellowship Events team. Women and men were invited to tea to celebrate this recent legendary drama. Dress was casually elegant with a touch of Downton and some guest came as their favourite characters in the Downton Abbey family. Special music from the era was enjoyed by all as well as delicious treats, all served by the Dapper Dudes!

St David’s Day Concert (March 5, 2016)

Presented by St Paul’s Fellowship Events Team, The Welsh Tenor Gwydaf Jones and Ensemble was a crowd favourite, singing a variety of show, folk and sacred tunes. A reception of original Welsh Cakes followed the concert. Picture is Gwydaf with members of the Fellowship Events Team.

Coldest Night of the Year Walk (February 20, 2016)

St Paul’s Warm Hearts Team raised over $1,000 for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk, in support of Milton Transitional Housing. MTH provides transitional housing to the homeless, or those at risk of becoming homeless, in Milton and area. Part of the funds included $260 raised by the Sunday School selling Valentine Candygrams. Well done!

Pancake Breakfast and Combined Worship (February 7, 2016)

The Annex organized a pancake breakfast prior to worship, followed by a combined service in the sanctuary.
