Rededication of the St Paul’s Sanctuary – Sunday November 1, 2015

St. Paul’s United Church celebrated two milestones on Sunday, November 1, 2015: its 163rd anniversary and the rededication of the restored sanctuary. Five years after the sanctuary was severely damaged by fire on June 30, 2010, the congregation held a celebratory service. The service was held at 10:00am, followed by a lunch reception. The service included special music from the St Paul’s Choir and Youth Choir. Audio and videos of the service are in the sermons and videos section of our website.

“Not only did the congregation pledge its financial support to rebuild, but the entire community of Milton has supported the effort to maintain this historic structure on Main Street,” says Susan Butson, chair of church council.  “We are proud to have finished the bricks and mortar stage and to move on to outreach mission to the community.”
